All of my life, I've been influenced by art and had a desire to create my own. I pursued this passion in college, earning a B.A. in Art from San Diego State University and graduated with distinctions. For the past eight years, I've been creating fun environments through murals for children, & pet portraits . I've also done the storefront of a bookstore and business signs. My paintings hang in private collections in homes and businesses. It is such a honor to share my artwork with others. I love what I do, and feel fortunate to be able to create art as my profession. For me art is a necessity, it's a part of me I can't ignore. I am constantly thinking of new images and compositions to pursue. It's wonderful to express myself through colorful paintings. My style varies greatly depending on my mood. My work has been referred to as fresh and unique. Subjects I enjoy include cats, dogs, people, flowers and butterflies. I branch out from these subjects but always return to them. I enjoy experimenting in new areas and pushing myself to grow as an artist. O'Keefe, VanGogh, Chagall and Dr. Seuss are some of the artists I admire. I'm also avid about music and my taste is eclectic in this area as well.
